Give Green 2025 breaks records in money raised

Tulanians showed the power of coming together, raising more than $1.7 million during Tulane’s eighth annual Give Green event.

Tulanians once again showed the power of coming together — raising more than $1.7 million during Tulane University’s eighth annual giving event, the most ever raised in the event’s history.

The final total — more than $1.75 million — marked a 9 percent increase over 2024 and set a new all-time high for Give Green. This year’s success builds on a strong upward trend: giving has nearly quadrupled since the very first Give Green in 2018.

“Give Green continues to grow in remarkable ways — it’s inspiring to see how our community rises to the occasion year after year,” says Ginny Wise, senior vice president for advancement at Tulane. “This record-breaking success reflects the incredible generosity of Tulanians everywhere and the strength we have when we come together in support of the university.”

Excitement for Give Green was palpable across Tulane’s campuses and radiated around the world as Tulanians across the globe joined in.

Supporters stepped up in a big way by creating challenge gifts that inspired others to give to Tulane. These matches helped donors stretch their impact and unlock additional funds for the areas of Tulane they care about most.

For example, the Katy & Alan Stone Big Green Grand Prize sparked friendly competition among schools and units. With $50,000 in bonus funds on the line, groups were divided into three categories based on past donor participation. This year’s proud winners were Tulane Athletics, Newcomb Institute and the Center for Public Service.

The Tulane Alumni Clubs Challenge, sponsored by Tulane Alumni, recognized Tulanians around the world. This friendly competition invited clubs of similar size to go head-to-head for the highest per capita participation during Give Green. Winning clubs earn funding for a Signature Series Event in their region.

This year, the Tulane Alumni Club of Washington, D.C., took top honors in the large-market category, while Chicago claimed the medium-market title. Charlotte, North Carolina, proudly secured the win among small-market clubs. A new international challenge made its debut, with the alumni club in the United Kingdom earning the inaugural global prize.

Gifts on Give Green support annual funds at schools and units across the university. They provide flexible and immediate resources to support students, faculty, capital projects, research, athletics and everything else that makes a Tulane education so distinctive.

“The impact of Give Green is felt all year long,” says Jenny Nathan Simoneaux, assistant vice president, Annual Giving. “It reaches every corner of Tulane — supporting students with scholarships, fueling groundbreaking research, empowering our faculty and enriching the everyday experiences that make this community so special.”
